Parents, you make a difference in your children’s education.  Get involved in their learning by attending Ellen Myers’ PTO meetings to find out about fundraisers and parent-led activities.

Here is a list of upcoming Ellen Myers events: 

  • October 29: Flu Mist (2nd dose)
  • October 31: Halloween Parties [Grades K-4 will begin their parties at 2:00.  Students may dress in costume, but please do not include accessories such as guns, knives, swords, etc.  Masks may be worn only at party time.]
  • November 4:   Election Day / NO SCHOOL
  • November 5:   Fall Pictures: retakes (and make-ups)
  • November 6:   Health Screening
  • November 7:   Progress Reports go home
  • November 7 – 14:  FOOD DRIVE
  • November 10: 6:00 PM  PTO Program (2nd Grade performs)
  • November 11:  Veteran’s Day Program @ 9:00 AM
  • November 13:  Bible Lady
  • November 14:  Fourth grade will have 4-H
  • November 26-28:  THANKSGIVING BREAK

We are pleased to announce that Claiborne County Schools will be implementing a new option available to schools in Tennessee that participate in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.  It is called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) and will begin in 2014-2015.  In a CEP school, all students receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch at no cost, regardless of family income.
