Notes have been sent home regarding Thanksgiving dinner dates. If you plan to eat Thanksgiving dinner with your child(ren), please complete the note and return it to school by Friday, November 8 so we can make sure we order the proper amounts of food.

**Fall Pictures are on Wednesday, October 2. Proofs will not be sent home this year. You may preorder online or send the envelope on picture day with payment enclosed. Checks must be made to Lifetouch.

** If you chose for your child to sell fundraiser items, the money is due by 9:00 A.M. on October 4.

On February 28th, Springdale held their annual science fair. 6th Grade students worked very hard researching and preparing their projects. Students were judged by district officials.

Springdale would like to recognize the Scottish Rite Club and Evening Star Lodge #180 for their generous donation of new shoes to students in need. Springdale, along with all Claiborne Schools, received 10 pairs of new shoes and a pair of socks for students in need. THANK YOU SCOTTISH RITES!

Springdale Elementary School held a food drive for nonperishable items this week. Students donated more than 1,500 food items! We thank all the parents, family members, and students for all their hard work on helping families in need this Christmas Season.

****The grade who brought in the most items won a movie and popcorn party.

Springdale received over 100 bags of school supplies on August 24th.  We send a big thank you to Walmart, the teachers, and the community for their efforts to provide these supplies to the children in Claiborne County.
