The 4-H Club at Soldiers Memorial Middle School does not collect fees/dues. The core principles of the 4-H movement are reflected in the shared successes of 4-H youth and their communities. So, what are the principles that drive 4-H?

The 4-Hs
Head, Heart, Hands, and Health are the four Hs in 4-H, and they are the four values members work on through fun and engaging programs.

Head – Managing, Thinking
Heart – Relating, Caring
Hands – Giving, Working
Health – Being, Living


The Junior BETA Club members at Soldiers Memorial Middle School pay an induction fee to the National BETA Club. The Mission: To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.


First Priority of Soldiers Memorial Middle School operates in covenant partnership with First Priority of America. First Priority operates under the equal access act signed in 1984. We are a multi-denominational faith-based organization that exists to unite Christian students in the public school setting. Our purpose is to teach leadership and accountability as well as equipping, encouraging, and empowering Christian students to live out their faith.
First Priority does NOT require student dues.
